Get ready for an unforgettable, behind-the-scenes experience as we explore some of Kansas City’s most iconic sports and recreation facilities! This tour will take participants inside the legendary Truman Sports Complex, home to Arrowhead Stadium, where the Kansas City Chiefs play, and Kauffman Stadium, home to the Kansas City Royals. Both teams are planning stadium moves, so don’t miss this opportunity to experience these iconic venues during their final years operating as home to Kansas City’s professional sports teams! The adventure continues at the University of Missouri–Kansas City (UMKC), where participants will enjoy lunch and an in-depth tour of the UMKC Campus Recreation’s Swinney Center. This tour is a perfect opportunity for anyone who is interested in professional sports and collegiate recreation facilities, gaining fresh perspectives, and connecting with fellow NIRSA professionals!
