Your volunteer time can make a difference to your fellow members and help the Association to celebrate and elevate outstanding facilities, programs, and individuals working in campus recreation and wellbeing. NIRSA is currently recruiting volunteers for six NIRSA awards committees. The six-month term is a shorter commitment than many other NIRSA Committee member opportunities. The term for these committees is July-December. Apply today to serve on a NIRSA awards committee!

Each year, NIRSA is proud to recognize some of its extraordinary members with a variety of awards. Serving on a NIRSA awards committee involves encouraging participation from fellow members and reviewing applications or nominations. This opportunity is a great way to give back, gain experience, and network with colleagues beyond your campus.

Applying is easy

A single application form covers all six awards committees. Indicate and rank your interest for up to three awards committees you’re interested in joining this coming year. You can also note whether you would like to be considered for a chair position.

Please read about the available awards committees and a little about the awards.
