The NIRSA Recreation Facilities Institute, presented by Mondo and in partnership with Athletic Business, provides in-depth information on planning, constructing, renovating, and operating recreation sports facilities. Since demand for recreation sports facilities continues to increase, recreation professionals need to stay on the forefront of trends and best practices.
About this Event
NIRSA Recreation Facilities Institute attendees may choose between educational sessions focused on design/construction or management operations. In addition to the top-notch educational sessions, facility tours are included for some of the area’s top recreational facilities. The on-campus tours are designed to complement the educational sessions and the networking opportunities with recreational sports managers, recreational program directors, and architects from across North America.
NIRSA is partnering with Athletic Business to produce the NIRSA Facilities Institute integrated as part of the AB Show. We believe this partnership will increase the quality and quantity of educational session offerings, increase exposure of the NIRSA brand with nonmembers, as well as decrease the scheduling conflicts of exhibitors and sponsors between NIRSA events and the AB show.
Athletic Business not only partners with NIRSA, but also the Medical Fitness Association, NAYS Youth Sports Congress, and the Association of Outdoor Recreation and Education! Attendees can attend any session at the show regardless of association membership.
