Financial Assistance through Scholarships & Stipends

Dedicated to the future of collegiate recreation, the NIRSA Foundation is proud to offer a variety of scholarships and travel stipends to NIRSA members.

NIRSA Foundation scholarships and stipends help ensure that all of NIRSA’s members — regardless of personal income — are able to take advantage of NIRSA’s many educational and professional opportunities available each year.

Since its inception in 1992, the NIRSA Foundation has raised over $1,000,000 to better serve NIRSA’s student and professional members. In today’s difficult economic climate, financial assistance is more important than ever before: the NIRSA Foundation’s scholarships and stipends program affords opportunities for leading students and professionals to learn and network at NIRSA’s educational events by minimizing the costs of travel and registration.
