NIRSA and Club Colors have teamed up to offer members and campuses the opportunity to purchase customized Rec Day 2017 T-shirts! T-shirts are available for order on the Rec Day page of the NIRSA website.

On that day, NIRSA’s founding father Dr. William Wasson shared his research regarding collegiate recreation—compiled in “A Comparative Study of Intramural Programs in Negro Colleges”—with 20 intramural directors representing 11 Historically Black Colleges […]
What started as 11 schools convening about intramural activity on February 22, 1950 has become a worldwide phenomenon supporting the belief that recreational sports on campus matter. This original meeting established the National Intramural Association which would eventually become NIRSA: Leaders in Collegiate Recreation.
