The NIRSA Championship Series Committee wants to help your institution have its best year of flag football programming yet!

To this end, we have compiled useful resources for you to use in promoting for NIRSA’s regional flag football tournaments.

NIRSA Championship Series Flag Football brings together hundreds of students and professionals for recreation and wellness

It’s easy to serve as a champion for NIRSA tournaments and to further increase students’ excitement and enthusiasm by showing the 2013 NIRSA Flag Football promotional video at your upcoming captain’s meetings, as well as hosting it on your website, and sharing it via social media and through email. Other promotional materials you can share with students include logos and a tournament map of all the flag football sites.

Don’t forget to tell your teams that regional winners receive an automatic bid/entry to the National Championship at the University of West Florida, taking place January 3-5, 2014, along with a travel stipend to help get them there.

In addition, NIRSA sports officials committees have been hard at work updating rule books, so your teams can have the most up-to-date flag football information and regulations. Our publications partner Human Kinetics has updated resources for officials’ training, clinician kits, and rule books, as well as the NIRSA Officiating Flag Football online course. Don’t forget, NIRSA institutional members receive a 15% discount on select NIRSA Education and Publication Center purchases by using the member discount code.
