On Thursday, March 23 at 1:00pm Eastern Time, NIRSA will be hosting a “2016 NIRSA Financial Year in Review” webinar. Save the date on your calendar and plan to join me, NIRSA Foundation President Tom Kirch, NSC President David Bowles, and NIRSA Executive Director Pam Watts, CAE as we present the overview of NIRSA’s financial position.
In prior years, this end-of-year overview was presented during an educational session at the NIRSA Annual Conference. However, because NIRSA 2017 came so early in the calendar year, not all of the information was available ahead of this year’s conference in National Harbor. So, NIRSA will be hosting a webinar for members on Thursday, March 23 at 1:00pm Eastern Time.
When you register for this webinar you will be sent a confirmation email with an online link and an option to dial-in by phone if you cannot access the webinar via the internet. You will also be able to add the event to your calendar from the confirmation email.
We will use the hour to review the 2016 operating budget results and reserve accounts as well as 2017 approved budgets. We’ll also review how revenue and expense flows between the three entities—NIRSA, the NIRSA Foundation, and the NIRSA Services Corporation. This overview will be helpful for anyone looking to volunteer in a leadership position on the NIRSA Board of Directors over the coming years.
