The Assessment Committee fosters a culture of assessment within NIRSA by facilitating the delivery of educational programs, resources and tools to NIRSA members, as well as highlighting practical examples of using assessment data to inform strategy and decision-making within campus recreation units.
Requirements
Current individual NIRSA membership is required for the duration of the committee appointment.
Content creation and presentation skills are required for committee work, as is experience in conducting assessments and creating reports.
Time Commitment
Committee meetings for one hour each month with some asynchronous/small group work, a few hours per month.
Term Length
Committee terms are for three years; this term will run from May 1, 2026 to April 30, 2029.
