Help deliver a premier championship experience at one (or more) of the 2027 NIRSA Flag Football Regional Tournaments.
Volunteers support event operations, participant engagement, game administration, communications, and overall tournament success while helping create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all participants.
Volunteer opportunities are available in areas such as:
- officials’ development/evaluation
- tournament experience
- media relations
- tournament operations
- and competition management
This opportunity is open to all current NIRSA professional and student members. Volunteers are responsible for providing their travel arrangements to and from the event.
Regional tournaments are scheduled for three days (Friday through Sunday) and require working 8-12 hours per day in some cases. Below are this year’s tournament event dates:
- Region 1: October 23-25 @ University of Massachusetts – Amherst
- Region 1: November 6-8 @ University of Maryland
- Region 2: November 6-8 @ Georgia College State University
- Region 4: November 6-8 @ Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi
- Region 5: November 6-8 @ University of Nebraska
Regional host sites determine whether lodging and meals for professional staff are covered by the regional host institution. Questions regarding responsibility for these expenses can be directed to NIRSA staff.
