July 7-9, 2020 *Rescheduled | Burlington, Vermont
Updated: April 21, 2:30pm PDT
*2020 NIRSA Intramural & Sports Club Institute is rescheduled.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 NIRSA Intramural & Sport Club Institute has been rescheduled! The rescheduled event will take place June 29-July 1, 2021 at the University of Vermont. This difficult decision was reached after careful consideration of recommendations from the World Health Organization, Centers for Disease Control (CDC), state and federal governmental agencies, as well as the significant travel restrictions in place for employees of many college and university campuses. If you have any questions regarding this event, please contact NIRSA Assistant Director of Professional Development, Brittany Rejda.
This inaugural institute is the combining of two previously held institutes: the NIRSA Intramural Sports Institute and the NIRSA Collegiate Sport Club Institute.
NIRSA is excited for the opportunity to make these two signature events even stronger, including the ability to add more sessions that address middle management positions who oversee these areas. Some other new features include hosting the institute on a university campus, offering different types of accommodations, and a new schedule outline.
