His passion for the success of collegiate students drives innovative designs of recreation centers across California and Texas. Arash guides clients, students and athletes through the planning, programming and design process to create sustainable and award-winning sport and recreation facilities, while his technical expertise has gained him recognition as an industry leader.
Bringing more than 25 years of professional expertise, Arash’s experience includes project types ranging from recreation centers, aquatic facilities, tennis facilities and stadia, as well as a variety of sports complexes. His contribution to community wellness and recreation design is featured in publications like the Water Efficiency Journal, Los Angeles Wave, Orange County Register and more, and Arash advocates for sustainable recreation facility design at large-scale speaking engagements at Athletic Business, Community College Facility Coalition, California Parks and Recreation Society, and California Independent Schools Conference.
A Colorado native with a passion for endurance sports, Meg enjoys the active lifestyle the Front Range has to offer and recognizes its impact on the built environment. Meg shares her love of architecture by volunteering with several organizations to teach children and young adults about the importance of architecture and the built environment. She is also involved in youth sports programs that foster confidence and encourage healthy, active lifestyles.
As the keynote speaker for the 2016 NIRSA Recreation Facilities Institute, Meg’s presentation will feature an overview of the past, present, and possible future trends in sustainability as it pertains to campus recreation, within the realm of facility planning, design and construction.
