The NIRSA Recreation Facilities Institute provides in-depth information on planning, constructing, renovating, and operating recreation sports facilities. Since demand for recreation sports facilities continues to increase, recreation professionals need to stay on the forefront of trends and best practices.
NIRSA’s 21-Day Racial Equity Habit Building Challenge for campus recreation

Campus recreation professionals are invited to focus on racism and the Black American experience. Each Monday for 4 weeks, you will receive a list of daily resources — a mix of readings, videos, podcasts, and discussion questions. All participants are encouraged to convene a discussion with your teams. This is now being offered as an ‘on-demand’ experience.

The series will be covering topics related to recreation facilities operations, management, and planning and design, especially as it relates to the current pandemic and planning for the future.
