With great excitement, the NIRSA Board of Directors announces their new employment terms with NIRSA Executive Director, Pam Watts.

In January 2012, Pam was appointed NIRSA Executive Director through the NIRSA 2013 conference in Las Vegas.

Keeping with a resolution by the 2012-13 NIRSA Board to move to codify a new agreement by the Summer Leadership Meetings, as well as with the full support of the NIRSA Foundation and NIRSA Services Corporation Boards, the NIRSA Board of Directors unanimously supported Pam’s continuation in the role of Executive Director and are pleased to have reached new employment terms with her.

On the heels of an outstanding conference in Las Vegas, Pam will continue her great work with the Association.

Pam’s skills have surpassed the expectations set in the Board adopted Executive Director Competencies, which include leadership of the team at NIRSA Headquarters, aligning NIRSA’s governing boards, and transforming conversations in higher education via the launching pad of our co-located conference with ACPA. The NIRSA Board of Directors is especially grateful to continue benefiting from Pam’s expertise and commitment to building positive relationships with other associations, agencies, and groups within higher education.
