The NIRSA Health & Wellbeing Task Force is excited to share that a Repository of Wellbeing Measures is now available for NIRSA members. One ask the task force has frequently received is for help understanding the many measurement scales and tools available. This resource, complied by the Wellbeing Research Work Group, seeks to offer a starting point in that journey.
While the repository is certainly not exhaustive, it is a foundational starting place for members looking to quickly compare some common and popular tools in this space. Each entry provides the name of the measure, link to a validation paper, cost, brief description, permission information, brief pros and cons, recommendations for use, a note on its connection to recreation, and a link to the measure.

NIRSA Health & Wellbeing Task Force
The NIRSA Health & Wellbeing Task Force is comprised of 10-12 members to lead a variety of initiatives that ensure NIRSA “continues to be a driving force in an integrated approach to health & wellbeing” as stated in the 2021-2024 Strategic Plan.
