EP Climbing, a NIRSA associate member for 21 years and a leading name in the climbing industry, proudly welcomes JoAnne Carilli-Stevenson to its team as the new Sales and Customer Service Director. With a remarkable background spanning over 28 years in sales, business development, and strategic marketing, JoAnne brings a wealth of experience and a passion for the climbing community.
JoAnne’s diverse career includes impactful roles in the outdoor, brewing, biotech, skincare, and hospitality sectors. A dedicated advocate for climbing, JoAnne has actively contributed to the community for over a decade, volunteering for USA Climbing in various capacities. Currently serving on the Climbing Escalade Canada Board of Directors, JoAnne has proven her commitment to the sport’s growth and development.

JoAnne holds a BA in Economics from the University of Vermont and an MBA in Management and Organization from the University of New Haven. Beyond her professional achievements, JoAnne is a dedicated mentor, passionate about giving back to the community and nurturing the next generation of climbers.
JoAnne’s involvement with USA Climbing is a testament to her organizational and managerial prowess. She successfully led as a Regional, Divisional, and National Coordinator for Youth and Collegiate Series, showcasing exceptional skills in coordinating nationwide climbing events. Her contributions to policy changes and operational improvements within USA Climbing, along with her management of national championships and major international events, highlight her commitment to excellence.
