In September 2020, NIRSA first introduced its 21-Day Racial Equity Habit Building Challenge © for Campus Recreation, supported by Mondo. The concept of the 21-day challenge was introduced several years ago by diversity expert Eddie Moore, Jr. to create greater understanding of the intersections of race, power, privilege, supremacy, oppression, and equity.
Nearly 800 campus recreation and student affairs professionals participated in that initial offering and dozens more have taken part in the on-demand offering since then.
If you haven’t already participated in this unique learning opportunity—designed especially for campus recreation professionals and student staff, we invite you to register today and participate in this 21-day habit building challenge to advance racial equity as part of your Black History Month actions.
Earn Continuing Educational Units
The 21 Day Challenge is a Continuing Educational Unit (CEU) opportunity for Registered Collegiate Recreational Sports Professionals (RCRSPs). Registrants for the Challenge can earn 15.0 NIRSA CEUs which can be used to fulfill initial or renewal application RCRSP requirements.
