Descriptions, presenters, and other details for scores of educational sessions are now available online for the 2021 NIRSA Virtual Conference & Campus Rec and Wellness Expo, presented by PLAE. There will be a number of sessions on key topic areas that are especially relevant for the profession today, like higher education leadership; equity, diversity, and inclusion competencies; digital engagement strategies; and integrated health and wellbeing efforts.
As part of the program, we’re planning eight concurrent session blocks that will roll-out a mix of pre-recorded, live, and simu-live (a pre-recorded session with live response options) learning sessions and feature multiple virtual formats.
Live sessions
The live broadcast schedule will include both live and pre-recorded sessions that include a real-time attendee text chat experience. Live sessions will be recorded and access to these recordings will be available shortly after their initial debut through April 30.
On-demand sessions
On-demand sessions will be available to view at any time from the beginning of conference through April 30. This means attendees no longer have to be torn between attending concurrent sessions! For the first time, attendees will have access to nearly the full slate of sessions and not solely the ones that can be packed into two or three days!
Earn CEUs
For many sessions, learners qualify for NIRSA Continuing Education Units (CEUs). Continuing Education Units can be applied to fulfill initial or renewal application requirements for NIRSA’s Registry of Collegiate Recreational Sports Professionals. Don’t miss your chance to showcase your learning through the profession’s most recognized credential.
Additional program details are now online
In addition to the great learning opportunities for attendees, we’re also planning live speakers and events, fitness classes, award celebrations, tours of facilities from across the country, and an interactive expo! Details about what to expect and planned networking opportunities are now online.
Register before February 2 to take advantage of early bird discounts.
Financial support is available from the NIRSA Foundation
