Talks with Tiffany: Maintaining Professionalism in the Midst of Black Mourning is a three-part series with Black female recreation directors discussing aspects of being a Black woman in campus recreation: how they work with their staff, work through micro/macroaggressions, maintain their mental and physical health, and face other challenges.
This series will be facilitated by Director of Recreation Services at Colby College e Tiffany Lomax who will present three webinars featuring some of NIRSA’s leading Black women voices. These include Jocelyn Hill, Director of Recreational Sports & Fitness at American University, Felicia Tittle, Executive Director of Recreation & Physical Education at Duke University, Tara Parker, Executive Director of the Department of Sports and Recreation at Kennesaw State University, and Wendy Windsor, Director of Recreation at Tulane University.
