All are welcome to experience fun, food, and freebies

The Expo Grand Opening kicks off with food, fitness, and free giveaways at 2:30pm on Sunday, April 19, and remains open until 5:30pm in the Phoenix Convention Center, Halls 5 and 6. Appetizers are provided while you play on the latest equipment and build relationships with exhibitors to leverage an outstanding vendor network.

Pro tip: Beat the Phoenix heat by collecting your free cooling towel while supplies last in NIRSA Booth #457. And don’t forget to drop off your raffle ticket with us for a chance to win various prizes!

Once you’ve fixed yourself up with some free swag, it’s time to get your fun on. Test your skills in the NIRSA Hoop Shoot Contest for a chance to win cash prizes. Got hot hands? The Unified Sports Experience Hoop Shoot is a can’t-miss way to get inspired to support Unified Sports in your community! The first 100 shooters receive a Unified Sports T-shirt, and Special Olympics will provide the winner’s campus a $1,000 grant toward starting or developing a Unified Intramural Sports program.

Work up a sweat and learn new techniques during Sunday afternoon’s two high-energy Fitness Forum, sponsored by Life Fitness, classes in Fitness Forum Booth #145. Then cool down by testing equipment with our NIRSA partners and other exhibitors excited to shine a light on the latest and greatest in campus rec and wellbeing.

Fitness Forum classes take place throughout the day, and there’s something for everyone, whether you want to discover new yoga practices, knock out stress through boxing, move through a circuit class, and more! We know you’ll have a sweet time in the Expo Hall, but just to put a cherry on top before closing, we’re happy to offer free ice cream during the expo’s last open hour, 1:30pm–2:30pm! We’ve heard the more exhibitors you visit, the less likely you are to get brain freeze, so grab your frozen treat and visit with vendors one last time.
