Every year, the NIRSA Annual Conference & Campus Rec and Wellness Expo brings over 3,000 NIRSA students, professionals, and associate member representatives together for the express purpose of advancing the profession. Attendees have the chance to grow their professional skills by attending a variety of educational sessions, networking with colleagues at social events, and connecting with vendors at the Campus Rec and Wellness Expo. In short, the NIRSA Annual Conference is the place to be if you’re invested in campus recreation or wellness.
The 2018 NIRSA Annual Conference & Campus Rec and Wellness Expo—themed “Elevate Your Path”—is taking place at the Colorado Convention Center in the heart of downtown Denver, Colorado from March 4-7. Registration for this fantastic professional development event opens on November 1.
You won’t want to miss this year’s conference, so make sure to get yourself registered—and urge your colleagues to do the same! Convince your boss toolkit
If you are asked to provide justification for expenses related to attending the NIRSA Annual Conference to your supervisor or administrator, we’ve provided a few tools to help you build your case: a benefits worksheet, a budget worksheet, and a sample letter for your supervisor.
Showing that you can put the connections made and the knowledge gained at NIRSA 2018 into action straightaway makes it easier for your supervisor or administration to support your attendance at the conference. So download the justification kit, customize your letter, and expenses and benefits worksheets.
Save the date and keep an eye on the NIRSA 2018 website on November 1 to register for this great event! Registering and reserving your hotel room early will ensure your best selection of NIRSA room block availability.
We can’t wait to see you in Denver!
