The NIRSA Research & Assessment Committee is currently accepting applications for the NIRSA Research Grant Program, an opportunity made possible by generous donations to the NIRSA Foundation. All grant applications are due by Friday, June 30—late submissions will not be eligible for consideration.

Grants will be distributed in $10,000 and $2,000 amounts to researchers investigating critical areas in the field of collegiate recreation. Application proposals should align with the newly-adopted NIRSA Research Agenda and clearly articulate the need for the research. The 2017 grant recipients will also have the opportunity to present their work at the 70th NIRSA Annual Conference & Recreational Sports Exposition taking place February 2019 in Boston, MA. Further details regarding the grant program—including the 2017 application guidelines, a proposal scoring rubric, and past recipients—can be found on the NIRSA website. Submit your application today!
