Applications to serve as a regional coordinator for NIRSA Championship Series Soccer are now open. We currently have openings in Regions I, III, and IV. We are in an exciting time for NIRSA soccer, one that I am proud to be affiliated with and learning from. The progress we have made in the past two years has been pivotal and substantial. So we are excited to have openings for these regional coordinator positions as they serve a vital purpose in our present—just as they will in our future.
All regions have a minimum of two regional coordinators who are in charge of ensuring the successful execution of league coordination and management through effective working relationships with league representatives. The regional coordinators are also responsible for planning and coordinating the annual regional tournament. In order to be eligible to participate in the NIRSA Championship Series National Soccer Tournament, teams must compete in these regional tournaments. All regional coordinators also serve on the NIRSA Championship Series Soccer Work Team.
Each regional coordinator position is a three-year appointment with the option to re-apply if interested. Applications are due March 3. We can’t wait to get these positions filled with eager NIRSA members. Come be a part of something challenging and innovative—apply today!
