If you are a new or experienced intramurals professional, you won’t want to miss this year’s NIRSA Intramural Sports Institute taking place in Baltimore, Maryland from June 22–24. Registration is open and the opportunity for best pricing ends soon—register by May 11 and save!
Some highlights from this year’s fantastic program are a preconference night at the ball game watching the Orioles take on the Padres; a lunch bunch social on the first day of the institute to establish networking connections for the week and beyond; and highly-anticipated keynote speaker Joey Crawford who will speak about teamwork and how every member of the crew matters before participating in a Q&A session. This year’s theme, “Refining Our Purpose,” is meant to emphasize digging deeper into what intramurals mean to both you and your campus. The theme will be reflected throughout the institute in a variety of ways, including in several committee-recruited hot topics that will be represented in educational sessions and roundtable discussions.
