Every year, the NIRSA Honor Award recognizes a NIRSA professional member who has made incredible achievements in the collegiate recreation field and demonstrated exemplary service to the Association over the course of their career. The NIRSA Honor Award Banquet also occurs annually—at the conclusion of the NIRSA Annual Conference & Recreational Sports Expo—to give NIRSA members the opportunity to celebrate the year’s award recipient.
NIRSA 2015 will take place from March 30–April 2 in Grapevine, Texas and the Association invites you to join your colleagues at the Honor Award Banquet to celebrate the 2015 Honor Award recipient. Join us for this opportunity to recognize an inspiring NIRSA professional’s important contributions to the Association and the profession!
If you would like to attend the 2015 Honor Award Banquet, you can actually secure your ticket and table reservation before even setting foot in Grapevine. Look for the Honor Award Banquet reservation link on your registration confirmation receipt—or, alternatively, you can download a copy of the reservation form. Once everyone in your party has registered for the Annual Conference, fill out the reservation form with everyone’s names, schools, and meal preferences and then email it to NIRSA Headquarters by March 6 Friday, March 13. Keep in mind that banquet tables will accommodate up to ten attendees. We will seat you at the best table available.
You will receive your meal ticket and table number reminder with your pre-registration materials when you’re onsite in Grapevine. Make sure to keep your meal ticket safe until the Honor Award Banquet. Table reservations for the Honor Award Banquet will still be available onsite at the NIRSA Registration Booth; however, the best seats will be allocated to those individuals who reserve their seats in advance.
