The 65th NIRSA Annual Conference & Recreational Sports Exposition will be held under the same glassy dome as the official lodging for attendees: Gaylord Opryland Resort.

The nine-acre property will serve as our home-away-from home from April 23-26, 2014 as the field of collegiate recreation comes together: “Harmonizing our values.”

The Gaylord Opryland is sure to be a productive and memorable venue, featuring nine acres of indoor gardens, complete with indoor waterfalls and river. With dining, shopping, and meeting spaces all under one roof, conference attendees can worry less about travel and focus on networking and learning with peers.

Rates & Amenities

Rates begin at $199 for single through triple occupancy and $219 for quad occupancy. We encourage all attendees to find roommates through the upcoming NIRSA 2014 discussion board. (More details on that coming soon!)

NIRSA 2014 will be held under the same glassy dome as the official lodging for attendees: Gaylord Opryland Resort.

The Gaylord will provide the following amenities for all NIRSA attendees:

  • Free Wi-Fi in all sleeping rooms
  • Free access to the fitness center
  • Free access to all three pools
  • Free daily newspaper

In addition, by showing your NIRSA 2014 name badge, attendees will be able to take the shuttle to downtown Nashville, free of charge (normally a $20 round-trip ticket).

Reservations

Information on reserving your room can be found at the NIRSA 2014 Hotel & Travel page.

NIRSA relies on strong room block usage to secure our meeting space. This helps us negotiate better hotel rates for future conferences.

Beyond Nashville, NIRSA is pleased to partner with Gaylord Hotels for upcoming conferences in Dallas, Texas (2015), Orlando, Florida (2016), and Washington, D.C. (2017).
