The United States Tennis Association (USTA) and NIRSA are pleased to announce that this year’s USTA Tennis On Campus Fall Invitational will take place October 11-13, 2013 in Hilton Head, South Carolina.

Tennis On Campus, a national program that provides collegiate recreation professionals the tools and resources to bring exciting and engaging tennis opportunities to their students, prides itself on the great mix of networking and competition these invitational events serve up.

The USTA Tennis On Campus Fall Invitational, its national kickoff event, “is a great way to start the season. It provides students the opportunity to come together in the spirit of competition while networking and collaborating to strengthen club tennis activities,” says Glenn Arrington, National Manager for USTA Tennis On Campus. As many as thirty-two teams from across the country will compete for the two highly-coveted automatic bids, awarded to the invitational winner & runner up, to the 2014 USTA Tennis On Campus National Championship happening from April 11-13 in Surprise, Arizona.

Taking place at the Palmetto Dunes Tennis Center, ranked among “The 50 Greatest U.S. Tennis Resorts” by Tennis Magazine and ranked number two in the world for events by Tennis Resorts Online, the tournament will feature three days of high-quality tennis, southern hospitality, and great fun for all team members and club officials.

The tournament registration is open on a first come, first serve basis. Unique schools can register until September 11, 2013. B-team registrations will be accepted beginning September 12, 2013. The 2012 draw included teams from Auburn University, Clemson University, College of Charleston, Colorado School of Mines, Duke University (Champions), East Tennessee State University, Ferris State University, Georgia Institute of Technology, Macon State College, North Carolina State University, Ohio University, Old Dominion University, University of Alabama, University of Central Florida, University of Cincinnati, University of Dayton, University of Kentucky, University of Minnesota—Twin Cities, University of North Carolina—Charlotte, University of North Carolina—Greensboro, University of Tennessee, University of Virginia (Runner Up) & Vanderbilt University.
