About Region VI
NIRSA Region VI spans the western United States and Pacific regions, making it one of the most geographically diverse regions in the association. Its membership reflects a wide variety of campus recreation models, from large urban institutions to remote and rural campuses.
The region is highly engaged in hosting NIRSA Championship Series events and maintains strong regional leadership structures, including state and student leadership roles. Region VI members are actively involved in national committees and the NIRSA Member Network, contributing to governance, innovation, and professional growth across the association.
