About Region I
NIRSA Region I brings together collegiate recreation professionals and students in the Northeast, representing a blend of large universities and smaller campuses committed to advancing campus recreation.
With high engagement in regional conferences, student leadership roles, and championship participation, this region supports both seasoned professionals and emerging student leaders. The region frequently contributes to officials, volunteers, and competitors to regional and national championship series events, reinforcing its reputation for excellence and involvement across the Association.
