Do you have questions about the NIRSA Assembly?

Thoughts you’d like to share on current topics for the collegiate recreation profession?

With the NIRSA Assembly teaming up with RecChat to host a Google Hangout on Tuesday, April 9 at 3:00pm EST, the Assembly is ready to hear you out and answer your questions.

Assembly members Darcy Bingham, Laurie Braden, Earl Cabellon, and Jessica Gentry will respond to tweets that are sent to @NIRSAlive and @RecChat before the event.

Join the conversation today.

The NIRSA Assembly and RecChat are thrilled to discuss your questions and ideas

Through this Google Hangout, NIRSA members are invited to:

  • Learn more about the role the NIRSA Assembly plays as the “think-tank” of NIRSA
  • Contribute thoughts and ideas on current Assembly discussion topics:
    • Participant inclusion
    • Mental health
    • Partnerships with academics and employers
    • Physical space on campus communities

In addition to providing thought provoking discussion points for the Assembly, the Google Hangout is a good time to gain more insight into this vein of NIRSA Leadership. For those with sparked interest to serve on the NIRSA Assembly, applications are due April 12.

On behalf of the NIRSA Assembly and RecChat, we hope to engage with you Tuesday, April 9, 3:00pm EST. Here’s how to get in on the action:

  • Prior to the event, tweet questions, discussion topics, and ideas to @NIRSAlive or @RecChat, using the #RecChat hashtag
  • On April 9, tune into https://www.youtube.com/RecChat
  • Continue live-tweeting questions throughout the event and after
