Road to the National Championships
In November, the top teams from across the nation will vie for the title of National Champs! Each NIRSA Region can extend National Championships tournament bids to the following:
Region 1
5 men’s bids, 6 women’s bids
Region 2
2 men’s bids, 4 women’s bids
Region 3
1 men’s bid, 4 women’s bids
Region 4
1 men’s bid, 3 women’s bids
Region 5
1 men’s bid, 1 women’s bid
Region 6
1 men’s bid, 2 women’s bids
At-Large
7 men’s bids, 10 women’s bids.
The Open Division consists of 20 men’s and 28 women’s teams. Teams are awarded bids for the Open Division through a lottery system.
