A vibrant NIRSA community has turned a simple hashtag—#SocksOfNIRSA—into a popular Association-wide tradition. We can confirm that #SocksOfNIRSA is very much a thing, and it is here to stay.
Closing time
The Championship Series has influenced roughly half of my life. It has developed my professional and personal skills, and allowed me to meet some of the most fantastic and dedicated people NIRSA has to offer.

2020 NIRSA National Basketball Championship cancelled
After serious consideration, it is with much regret that the 2020 NIRSA National Basketball Championship (April 3–5 in Wichita, KS) has been cancelled due to the continuing concerns with the COVID-19 virus.

A tournament record 99 teams made their way to Round Rock, Texas to compete in the 2019 NIRSA National Soccer Championship for the opportunity to be crowned national victor.

This time of year, I’m reminded of someone who’s a leader within the Championship Series as well as an excellent mentor and even better friend. Her name is Sarah Fain, and she is loved.

What can we do to further our participants’ experiences? What opportunities can we introduce and give to our students to bring a unique spotlight to our programming? What else can we give?
