If you manage intramural programming, you will not want to miss the 2018 NIRSA Intramural Sports Institute taking place June 20–22 in Brookfield, Wisconsin! And, lucky for you, registration is now open!

The Intramural Sports Institute is an event that only happens once every two years and is built specifically for intramural professionals. If you’re an intramural professional, this is the event to expand your knowledge and sharpen your skills. Not only will this event help you develop individually, it will also help you improve intramural programming for your campus.

This year’s theme is “Growing Together Through Intentionality and Purpose,” which is meant to emphasize growing and aligning our intramural programs for the future. The institute committee has outlined topic areas that will be the foundation for what will be taught at the event:

  • Budgets
  • Technology/Marketing
  • Student Development
  • Officiating
  • Special Events/Marketing
  • Program Administration

Additionally, the committee has outlined several “hot topics” that can be found on the on the institute’s website. This is also a great opportunity to earn 0.4 NIRSA CEUs towards your prestigious Registry of Collegiate Recreational Sports Professionals credential by presenting! Presentation proposals for this event are still open—the deadline to submit is February 7. The committee would like to see as many submissions as possible, so please don’t be afraid to submit a proposal that could help your fellow intramural professionals—check out the website for more information. Intramural professionals, you won’t want to miss this event—register today!
