Registration for the 2023 NIRSA Intramural & Club Sports Institute is now live! This year’s institute will be the first in-person institute combining the Intramural and Club Sports Institutes into one event! This is the place to be for any dedicated intramural or sport club professional! This institute is the only professional development event solely dedicated to the intramural and sport club profession. Not only will this event offer the professional development necessary to grow your knowledge and prepare you for changes in the fields of intramural and club sports, it will also offer a middle-management track to help prepare you for career advancement. This event will take place July 11–13 at the University of Vermont in Burlington, Vermont—registration is now open!

The theme for the institute is “Moving Mountains Together.” This theme highlights the importance of collaboration, especially as recreation professionals are tasked with more and more responsibilities. On that note, don’t forget to submit a presentation proposal! This event relies on intramural and sport club professionals sharing their expertise and helping improve the profession. We can’t do this without you!

Not only is presenting a fantastic way to give back to the profession, but—as an extra incentive—lead presenters will receive a $100-off coupon to use towards their registration! If you’re still feeling apprehensive, NIRSA has a presenters webpage with an FAQ and reminders on how to submit a successful proposal.

Stay tuned for information on reserving a hotel room in the NIRSA room block. Or, to save even more money, consider booking one of the residence hall rooms at the University of Vermont!

Additionally, this event is a great place to earn CEs for the brand new Certified Student Affairs Educator and Campus Recreation Certification (CSAE) credential!

Come join us in Burlington and learn from the best!
