NIRSA is excited to announce that the 2018 NIRSA Intramural Sports Institute will take place June 20-22, in Brookfield, Wisconsin! Mark your calendars for this fantastic professional development event!
The 2018 NIRSA Intramural Sports Institute is the premier educational event for intramural professionals. This event only happens every other year so keep a lookout for upcoming news alerts about registration so you can be sure to secure your spot.
Brookfield is located just west of Milwaukee and offers great shopping and dining. Nearby Milwaukee sits on the shore of beautiful Lake Michigan and is home to the Milwaukee Brewers, Harley-Davidson Museum, and many other great attractions.
The schedule for the upcoming event will be available early in 2018. Meanwhile, the 2016 schedule of events can give you a sense of the educational and networking opportunities the institute has to offer. Attendees can earn Continuing Education Units, which can be applied to your application or renewal into the Registry of Collegiate Recreation Sports Professionals.
Registration will take place early in 2018, and you’ll be able to submit presentation proposals this fall. Lead presenters qualify for a NIRSA voucher and can earn Professional Involvement Credits. Keep this event top-of-mind as the fall kicks off a new year of intramurals programming!
