Established in 1992, the NIRSA Foundation is celebrating three decades of giving in 2022. Each year, dozens of beneficiaries are impacted by the opportunities and experiences delivered by the NIRSA Foundation through the support of donors and countless volunteers.
Applications are now open for the 2022–2023 NIRSA Assembly. Each year, around 25 NIRSA volunteer leaders—including professionals, students, and associate members—serve to advance the profession.
NIRSA membership votes annually, via electronic elections, to fill positions on the NIRSA Board of Directors and the Member Network; meet the candidates standing for 2022 elections.
NIRSA’s Mentor Match program can give emerging professionals in the field of collegiate recreation a helping hand when it comes to finding a mentor and facilitating informal knowledge sharing and career support.
Andy Milton, who served as CAS Director since 2018 stepped down earlier this year from the role. Jake Eubank of Lehman College, CUNY and Jason Vlastaras of Iowa State University take up volunteer roles.
NIRSA would like to thank Bryce Muller for his service on the Member Network; Bryce will be succeeded by Morgyn Felty, Graduate Assistant at South Dakota State University as the new Region V Student Leader.
