NIRSA members vote annually via electronic elections to fill positions on the NIRSA Member Network and the NIRSA Board of Directors. The Association is pleased to welcome our incoming professional and student leaders.
NIRSA Headquarters is working with Election America to conduct the Association’s 2019 NIRSA volunteer leadership elections. All student and professional members are eligible to vote.

The NIRSA Board of Directors held their midyear meeting at California State University – Sacramento (Sac State), hosting a Town Hall with area members gathering at The WELL for a networking lunch and panel discussion.
Maybe it’s the Thanksgiving holiday and maybe because it’s NIRSA Awards season, but I find the fall a great time each year to reflect on the many privileges and blessings that make my life fulfilling.
With deep sadness, NIRSA shares the news that NIRSA Past President and Honor Award recipient Edsel Buchanan, aged 90, passed away on September 30.
The Association will hold elections this winter for President Elect and At-Large Director on the NIRSA Board of Directors as well as for a number of professional and student positions on the NIRSA Member Network.
The NIRSA Foundation Board of Directors traveled to Oregon in early June for its second annual orientation and face-to-face spring Board meetings.
