Kino Sports Complex
The Kino Sports Complex was built in 1998 to meet the demand for an elite class spring training baseball facility.
The 155-acre property features the Kino Veterans Memorial Stadium, seven additional regulation baseball feilds, six clubhouses, four lighted and four unlighted soccer fields, and the YMCA and community swimming pool and park.
The Kino Veterans Memorial Stadium holds permanent seating for 8000 with an additional 3,000-seat lawn area. The Kino North Stadium is a MLS-regulation facility which permanently seats 2,500 with additional space for up to 8,000 capacity. There are over 3,000 parking spaces for general parking, as well as additional secured parking areas.
The Kino Sports Complex also contains a 3.3 mile walking/exercise path surrounding an environmental restoration project known as the KERP, which is designed for flood control, irrigation, and urban environmental studies.

- 18 natural grass fields for professional-level baseball and soccer competition

- Energy consumption is monitored and energy saving practices initiated to reduce energy and save money (Musco Lighting Systems, Maxicon irrigation monitoring)
- Recycling and waste reduction practices are utilized to protect the environment
- Reclaimed water is utilized on all fields and common areas for irrigation with the exception of the Veteran’s Memorial Stadium, which is irrigated and maintained with potable water
- Light use is monitored to keep light pollution to a minimum
- Retired Arizona Diamondback player Luis Gonzales once hit the ball so hard it broke a waterline and flooded the underground tunnels during batting practice
- During the months of January, February, and March, the facility plays host to teams from around the world for baseball and soccer training; in 2016 alone, teams from Mexico, Korea, Germany, and Canada utilized the Kino Sports Complex
- The Kino Sports Complex is open and available to a variety of events that are sporting and non-sports related, recreational and competitive in nature, and for all ages and abilities
- When touring the North Soccer Complex one can still see some of the previous baseball field components in use only repurposed for soccer and long field sports (score boards, batters eye, dugouts)
