The Career Services Center is a great place to look for internships, graduate assistantships and professional positions of all levels, and to network with potential employers.

In addition, it’s also a great place to build your résumé and hone soft skills that will elevate your value as a candidate for any campus rec job!

There’s no need to register separately for the NIRSA Career Services Center. All registered attendees of the NIRSA Annual Conference can access the NIRSA Career Services Center for free!

Make the most of this annual opportunity to take the next step in your career:

  • At Bluefishjobs.com, look for job postings with the NIRSA Career Services Center logo starting in mid-February 2020; these postings typically indicate jobs that you can apply and interview for at the Annual Conference.

  • Make sure you download the Guidebook app for NIRSA 2020 and check-in; attendees who check-in can send and receive messages with other attendees.

  • Bring interview-appropriate attire, business cards, printed copies of your résumé, and a flash drive with electronic copies of your résumé and cover letter.

Sign up for a mock interview. Volunteer interviewers with expertise in various program areas will be available to give you a chance to practice answering the types of questions you’re likely to face when interviewing for a campus rec position.
