With the increasing competition for students and the need for campus programs and facilities to support student success, marketing is becoming an increasingly critical competency of higher education professionals.

Join campus recreation, college union, and student activities professionals to share best practices and trends in campus marketing! Learn how to tackle the challenges of being a successful marketing professional in today’s competitive higher education industry.

A collaborative event produced by NIRSA and ACUI, two higher education associations with a common goal of building healthy campus communities, this event is valuable for both experienced marketers and those new to the field.

Attendees may earn NIRSA CEUs to apply toward the Registry of Collegiate Recreation Sports Professional (RCRSP) credential.

“I gathered so much information about building a team and working the student agency model at the Collegiate Marketing Institute, and I know this information will prove invaluable when growing our program here at the University of Delaware Student Centers.”

Abigail Phillips, Communications Specialist

“This was one of my favorite conferences I’ve ever been to! All of the topics were relevant and I was able to take something away from each session that could apply to my current role. For example, I have a better understanding of how to implement strategies like marketing workshops for pro staff and creating consistent branding tools for staff. I am definitely interested in attending another Marketing Institute!”

Emily Helm, Virginia Commonwealth University

“Since I am not an actual marketing professional, I gained A LOT of knowledge, information and resources from this conference. I also made some great connections with professionals in the field that will help me to continue to grow in my role. I came away with pages of notes, ideas and inspiration on how our small department can enhance our presence on campus, while developing student employees.”

Samantha McLeod, Saint Louis University

“It was refreshing to share space (physically and mentally) with other student affairs/marketing professionals. The sessions helped me solidify the reasoning behind my implementation. I felt right at home with this group, and walked away knowing more than a handful of individuals that I can call as resources and friends!”

Tiffani Stephenson, University of Florida
