 Vibrant marketing is the key to raising awareness and building support for your recreational sports programs and facilities.

An engaging marketing plan allows you to draw attention and new energy to your programming while building strong relationships with your current students, staff, members, and sponsors.

This year’s Institute will be the third time that ACUI will be partnering with NIRSA to offer more sessions and diverse material. Valuable for both experienced marketers and those new to the field, the educational sessions of the 2018 Collegiate Marketing Institute, presented by NIRSA & ACUI  deliver winning strategies through a discussion of both current marketing trends and tried-and-true best practices.

Preconference Activities

Night at the Ball Game – Orioles vs. Padres

Tuesday, June 21

Space is limited
Join your colleagues and watch the Orioles take on the Padres at Oriole Park at Camden Yards! We will meet in the host hotel lobby at 6pm to walk the short distance to the Ballpark.

The preconference ball game is a great way to meet or reconnect with colleagues while taking in the scenes of this historic ballpark! The “Night at the Ball Game” includes your game ticket—in the left field club box—as well as a ball game picnic that includes popcorn, chips & cheese, peanuts, garden salad, hot dogs, ice cream, and Coca Cola fountain drinks.

Oriole Park Tours

$9 | Tickets are not included in NIRSA registration
Tickets can be purchased online at www.orioles.com or in person in advance or on the day of the tour at the main box office window.

If you get in to town a little early and are looking for something to do, touring Oriole Park would be a great opportunity! Oriole Park offers multiple public tours daily and each in-depth tour, lasting approximately 1 hour 30 minutes, includes club level suites, the press level, and even the Orioles dugout. For more information about the park and tour schedules check out their website.

Connecting through the 2016 NIRSA Intramural Sports Institute Connect Community is a great way to find a friend to join you on a tour of the ballpark.
