NIRSA is pleased to announce a seven-year partnership agreement with Trooh Media—an associate member of NIRSA—that will bring a great new benefit to scores of NIRSA member schools. Trooh is the premier campus digital signage network, and their Digital Media Towers allow campuses to easily share digital marketing and content with students. Trooh’s digital tower solution also offers mobile charging pads and USB/120V outlets to help students grab a quick charge on the go!

Trooh and NIRSA are looking to place 200 Trooh Digital Media Towers on NIRSA member campuses in 2023. Trooh Digital Media Towers are on more than 500 college and university campuses in student unions, bookstores, and dining halls. Building upon the successful reception of these towers, Trooh is looking to expand their services into campus recreation centers.

Why should you add a Trooh Digital Media Tower to your rec center?

When you bring a Digital Media Tower to your campus, not only will it provide your team a compelling way to communicate your department’s recreational opportunities to your students, it will also bring you an effortless way to drive revenue, through ad-based revenue-sharing. Trooh will pay your campus recreation department 15% of all advertising sales that they sell. Trooh is 100% responsible for securing the digital advertisers for their towers and typical payouts range from $3,000 – $15,000 annually, depending on enrollment.

Revenue isn’t the only thing that a Trooh Digital Media Tower will drive: participation in your programs is also sure to see a boost. The 55’ vertical screen offers your team a powerful tool to increase student awareness of activities and initiatives that are happening on your campus. Additionally, Trooh also provides fun and visually engaging displays—like weather updates, pop culture, and more. Digital Media Towers also offer students free wireless charging pads.

Trooh carries all financial responsibility for the screens; you pay zero startup, installation, repair, subscription, or maintenance fees. The compact 19”x32” footprint is sure to be a great compliment to rec center. In fall of 2022, NIRSA and Trooh initiated a soft launch of these screens at rec centers of several NIRSA member schools. See what some of your colleagues are saying about their experiences with Trooh Digital Media Towers:
