Following up the four-part virtual roundtable series focused on mental health and higher education, NIRSA and ACUHO-I are teaming up again to provide our members a chance to pause, re-center, and focus on self-care during this very stressful time.

On Thursday, August 27 at 3:00pm ET/12:00pm PT, join NIRSA’s Kelsey Whittaker, Senior Assistant Director, Fitness Programs at University of Montana, for a 15-minute guided meditation break.

About what to expect from this session, Kelsey says, “We all recognize that life feels weird right now, and it’s difficult to manage all the emotions that come along with that uncertainty. Don’t just suppress those uncomfortable emotions; learn to transmute them into peaceful action. This meditation will help you feel into fear, anger, or stress, and then empower you to release it. Take 15 minutes out of your day for yourself to just be – with your body, your breath, and your emotional and mental self.”
