On Thursday, April 8 at 12:00pm ET, NIRSA will be hosting the “2019 NIRSA Financial Year in Review” webinar. Save the date on your calendar and plan to join NIRSA Audit & Finance Committee Chair Kristy Caldwell, NIRSA Foundation President Elect Brent Harrison, NIRSA Services Corporation President Stephanie McAlpine, NIRSA Executive Director Pam Watts, CAE, and me, NIRSA’s Senior Director of Finance, as we present the annual overview of NIRSA’s financial position.
Historically, this end-of-year overview had been presented during an educational session at the NIRSA Annual Conference. However, for the past two years this presentation was made via a live and recorded online webinar, which resulted in a larger attending audience. So NIRSA will again be hosting this financial overview webinar for members live online. A recording of the presentation will be available for members to view later if they are not able to attend the live event.
When you register for this webinar, you will be sent a confirmation email with an online link and an option to dial-in by phone if you cannot access the webinar via the internet. You will also be able to add the event to your calendar from the confirmation email.
We will use the hour to review the 2019 financial results and reserve accounts as well as to offer attending members a look at some of the Association’s financial goals for 2020. We’ll also review how revenue and expenses flow between the three entities—NIRSA, the NIRSA Foundation, and the NIRSA Services Corporation. This overview will be helpful for anyone looking to volunteer in a leadership position on the NIRSA Board of Directors over the coming years.
