#RecChat is back and better than ever! NIRSA’s favorite hashtag #RecChat is taking public, meaningful conversations to new heights.

As an official NIRSA committee, #RecChat is pleased to bring some new talent to an already stacked team. Long-time chatters Richelle Williams (@ririwins) of Western Washington University and Maxwell Miller (@maxmiller88) of Swarthmore College are joined by a committee that is ready to engage. Bryan Ford of Drexel University (@BryanFord_DU), Alecia Stegenga of the University of Illinois at Chicago (@mrsstegenga), Mary Shelly of the City of LA Porte (@HOUTXGRL88), and Stephanie Calhoun of West Virginia University (@theStephCalhoun) have already brought enthusiasm, energy, and excitement to the committee.

With new energy, a new team, and a new year comes a new #RecChat schedule for Fall 2019. Tune in on September 18 at 3:00pm EST as the new NIRSA Student Leadership Team joins #RecChat and shares a little more about themselves, their first hundred days in office, and their goals for the upcoming year.

In October, join in for a session geared towards risk management. Your questions, input, and advice will be key to guiding the conversation. On November 13, #RecChat will highlight ways for members become more involved with NIRSA. With several opportunities for you to tune in, tweet in, and chime in for the conversation this fall, NIRSA engagement is sure to be at an all-time high!

While the fall line-up is set, there are still ways to become involved. #RecChat is looking for topics that you all, NIRSA members, are interested in discussing. Whether the conversations take place via video-sessions or tweet-ups, there’s room for your expertise and opinions on the #RecChat stage. In order to submit a topic for consideration, fill out the #RecChat interest form.

Mark your calendars, pull up a chair, recover your Twitter passwords, and join the conversation with #RecChat this fall!
