The Recreational Sports Journal (RSJ) has served as one of the leading resources of knowledge and innovation in the field of campus recreation for over 40 years. Over these years, members have supported every aspect of the journal. From submitting manuscripts to reviewing and publishing, members have been instrumental in the continued success of the RSJ. Long-time NIRSA member and current Editor-in-Chief Dr. Paul Milton will be stepping down from his position after 29 years of continuous service to the journal, 15 as the editor-in-chief. With this transition, the opportunity arises for another member to lead the journal as the editor-in-chief.

Qualified NIRSA members who are interested in serving the profession in this capacity are encouraged to apply for the editor-in-chief position. To view the position requirements, please download the application instructions available on the RSJ webpage. For full consideration, please submit all application materials on or before Friday, January 11. Final candidates will be selected for videoconference interviews with members of the search committee.
