Explore the Back Bay neighborhood of Bean Town

Located in the heart of Boston’s beautiful and historic Back Bay neighborhood, the Hynes Convention Center is the site for NIRSA 2019. The Hynes is an all-inclusive convention destination, directly connected to more than 3,100 hotel rooms, 200 shops and restaurants, and many other nearby conveniences.

Over 2,500 NIRSA student and professional members will gather in Boston to join and lead the health and wellbeing revolution and advance the collegiate recreation profession.

As an attendee, you’ll have the opportunity to attend a wide variety of educational sessions, networking with colleagues at social events, and connecting with more than 600 industry-leading representatives from nearly 150 vendors at the Campus Rec and Wellness Expo. Don’t miss this unrivaled, once-a-year opportunity to strengthen your core competencies in the field of campus recreation and wellness.

Convince your boss toolkit

If you’re asked to provide justification for expenses related to attending the NIRSA Annual Conference to your supervisor or administrator, we’ve provided a few tools to help you build your case: a benefits worksheet, a budget worksheet, and a sample letter for your supervisor.

Showing that you can put the connections made and the knowledge gained at NIRSA 2019 into action straightaway makes it easier for your supervisor or administration to support your attendance at the conference. So, download the justification toolkit and customize your letter as well as your expenses and benefits worksheets.
