There will be something for everyone to kick off the 2019 NIRSA Annual Conference & Campus Rec and Wellness Expo. Attendees will have unique opportunities to network and engage with other aspiring leaders in the Association while learning about youth programs, campus collaborations, strategies for engaging in difficult dialogue or learning how to design assessment-based programming.

Saturday, February 16 is going to be chalk-full of education and networking opportunities for those who come early and register for one of the many preconference trips or workshops. In addition to the educational workshops on Saturday, attendees can also choose to participate in one of two facility tours, a women’s networking luncheon, or take a walking tour of Boston. The complete list of preconference opportunities is available on the NIRSA website.

The Opening General Session kicks off the conference at 3:30pm on Saturday afternoon with Special Olympics Chairman of the Board Tim Shriver who will share his message of promoting the gifts of the marginalized through social inclusion and unified leadership.

The overall conference schedule is a great planning guide for the 2019 conference as it gives potential attendees an overview of the event. Additionally, the NIRSA 2019 FAQs should answer most of your questions.

“Join the Health & Wellbeing Revolution” by learning, networking, or exploring Boston by kicking off your conference with one of the many preconference offerings!

Conference registration opens Thursday, November 1.
