On Monday, October 15, applicants to the 2019 NIRSA School of Collegiate Recreation, which is taking place in Portland, Oregon from May 19–23, will be able to enter a registration lottery. This event consistently sells out very quickly and as a result, we employ the lottery process to improve the registration experience for NIRSA members.

NIRSA offers the School experience for those who want to develop their professional competencies and relationships and grow their careers in the field of collegiate recreation in an intimate and intensive learning environment. Registration for this event is limited to 48 attendees.

Lottery application will be accepted until Friday, November 16 and the lottery drawing will take place Wednesday, November 28. Those chosen in the application lottery will be contacted by NIRSA Headquarters to complete their registration and pay in full the registration fee. Those not selected will be automatically placed on a waiting list to be contacted should additional space become available.
