Currently in its 18th edition, the manual provides members with the latest rule changes and updates for the sport. Whether you’re a coach, an instructor, an official, a player or a fan of the sport, this resource has become the authoritative rules book for flag & touch football. This go-to resource—which is updated every two years—is due for an update ahead of the 2019 and 2020 seasons.
Nearly three decades ago, in 1987, the NIRSA Flag & Touch Football Rules Editorial Board—previously the NIRSA Flag & Touch Football Rules Committee—began a tradition of dedicating each revised edition of the NIRSA Flag & Touch Football Rules Book & Officials’ Manual to a person who has made significant contributions to the sport and played a pivotal role in the development of flag football. The editorial board is currently seeking nominations for the dedication of the 19th edition of the NIRSA Flag & Touch Football Rules Book & Officials’ Manual.
