Year in and year out, the NIRSA Flag & Touch Football Rules Book & Officials’ Manual is one of the Association’s most popular resource publications. This handbook has become the standard for campus recreation programs across North America, and beyond.

Currently in its 18th edition, the manual provides members with the latest rule changes and updates for the sport. Whether you’re a coach, an instructor, an official, a player or a fan of the sport, this resource has become the authoritative rules book for flag & touch football. This go-to resource—which is updated every two years—is due for an update ahead of the 2019 and 2020 seasons.

Nearly three decades ago, in 1987, the NIRSA Flag & Touch Football Rules Editorial Board—previously the NIRSA Flag & Touch Football Rules Committee—began a tradition of dedicating each revised edition of the NIRSA Flag & Touch Football Rules Book & Officials’ Manual to a person who has made significant contributions to the sport and played a pivotal role in the development of flag football. The editorial board is currently seeking nominations for the dedication of the 19th edition of the NIRSA Flag & Touch Football Rules Book & Officials’ Manual.

Please consider nominating an individual who is deserving of this honor. It only takes a few minutes to complete the nomination form while the honor will last a lifetime. So what are you waiting for? Nominate a deserving colleague today! Nominations for this unique distinction are due Friday, September 14.
