Marketing professionals are getting excited to learn all about big ideas in the Big Easy! The 2018 Collegiate Marketing Institute will take place in New Orleans, Louisiana from November 14–16. NIRSA and ACUI will once again collaborate to bring this event to our members. This year’s event will be the third event of this partnership designed to bring professionals across these professional functions together to share ideas, best practices, and trends in the field.

However, before attendees can come together for two-and-a-half days of networking and learning, the planning committee needs high-quality education program proposals to help create a fantastic institute. The planning committee encourages marketing professionals to submit presentation proposals for this highly-anticipated 2018 event. It is especially looking for proposals in the following areas:

  • Assessment
  • Sponsorship
  • Design
  • Communicating Wellbeing
  • Inclusive Communications
  • Management/Operations
  • Staff/Student Development

Beyond making an impact on the future marketing efforts of dozens of NIRSA and ACUI students and professionals, selected presenters receive a $100 voucher that can be applied to registration at any NIRSA event. They also receive Professional Involvement Credits (PIC) that can be used for initial application or renewal in The Registry of Collegiate Recreational Sports Professionals.

The deadline to submit session proposals is June 8. The session proposal form is available on the event website. Please make sure to check out the event website which has all the relevant information regarding the event—in particular, the presenter guide which can assist anyone interested in preparing a proposal.
